Thanks to more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant world, Francesco Ghilardi has been able to learn about and experience first-hand the many facets of this sector, from cooking to restaurant management.
After his Diploma at the IPSSAR in Stresa, he graduated in Food Service Management and Human Nutrition at the University of Milan and then completed his management training at ALMA, earning a Master in Food&Beverage Management in 2019.
During this time, he undertook numerous work experiences, first as Chef, in Italy and then in Sydney at Paddington Alimentari, later in the role of manager in different businesses in the sector, balancing the management of Ho.Re.Ca events and the study and application of technologies for the catering world.
Finally, in 2012, he made the decision to open his own restaurant, in the Parma hills, in the simultaneous role of chef, F&B manager and, of course, owner.
Driven by his experiences and by the vast cultural knowledge he had acquired, in 2021 Francesco Ghilardi decided to broaden his horizons and set out for South Korea, where he consolidated his career as F&B Manager both through consultancy work and by entering the world of education as Assistant Professor of the F&B and Food Science course at the Paul Bocuse Institute of Woosong University in Daejong.
Today, he wears the ALMA jacket in the role of Chef Ambassador.
