ALMA and George Brown’s 20th anniversary: event gallery
It was an event of celebrations and Italian soul, the one held at George Brown College to celebrate 20 years of partnership with ALMA, a moment of handshakes, speeches and ritual photos, but also of closeness, sense of belonging, sharing, to appreciate what the conviviality of the Bel Paese teaches: good food in good company.
This is the spirit of Celebrating Italia!, which saw as protagonists not only ALMA, in the person of General Director Andrea Sinigaglia, but also all of Italy, represented by Chef Ernesto Iaccarino of Don Alfonso 1890 Toronto and told by the dishes created by the Chef and his brigade and by the students of the Institute’s program in Italian Cuisine.
It was a two-day event attended by various personalities who have taken part in ALMA-GBC projects over the past two decades, local institutions, journalists and graduates of the courses, gathered not only to affix the milestone but more importantly to witness the projection of another 20 years together.
